The Compilation of Presidential Documents collection consists of the Weekly Compilation of Presidential Documents and the Daily Compilation of Presidential Documents which are the official publications of materials released by the White House Press Secretary. The Compilation of Presidential Documents is published by the Office of the Federal Register (OFR), National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).
The National Transportation Knowledge Network (NTKN) is a voluntary alliance of transportation organizations, which supports a network of transportation information professionals, who collaborate to expand, improve access to, and preserve the domain of transportation knowledge.

Statutory Authority: The Department of Transportation was established by an act of Congress on October 15, 1966. The Department’s first official day of operation was April 1, 1967.
Established in 1998 by the Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century (TEA-21), the National Transportation Library (NTL) provides national and international access to transportation information, coordinates information creation and dissemination, and offers reference services for the transportation community.
Founded as a born digital library, the National Transportation Library’s collections include full-text digital publications, datasets, and other resources. Legacy print materials that have been digitized are collected if they have historic, technical or national significance. An open access repository, ROSA P is designated as the full-text archive for the results of USDOT-funded research under its public access plan. Collections in ROSA P are available without restriction to transportation researchers, statistical organizations, the media, and the general public. NTL collects resources across all modes of transportation and related disciplines, with specific focus on information produced by USDOT, state DOTs, and other transportation organizations. Content types include text, datasets, images, video, other multimedia, and maps.
The Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS), part of the Department of Transportation (DOT) is the preeminent source of statistics on commercial aviation, multimodal freight activity, and transportation economics, and provides context to decision makers and the public for understanding statistics on transportation.
