Locating Items Within the Library

The NJ State Library is open Monday - Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. At this time, the library is open but with a limited number of onsite visitors. Appointments are encouraged.

Locations in the library where you will find health and medical resources.

Level 1 - Older books, generally published before 2002 that circulate. [Please ask librarian for assistance]

Level 2 - Journals and magazines. [Please ask librarian for assistance]

Level 3 (Street Level) - Newer books that circulate. Law Library.

Level 4 - Reference collection - does not circulate. Includes dictionaries, medical encyclopedias, directories, medical texts.
