The New Jersey Small Business Development Centers (NJSBDC) delivers management consulting and training programs to entrepreneurs, start-ups and small businesses as well as specialized and more advanced services to high-impact, growth-oriented businesses.

The Service Corp of Retired Executives is a volunteer association sponsored by the SBA. They provide expert advice on any business management topic.

The Women’s Center for Entrepreneurship [WCEC] helps elevate women to business success through education, counseling, mentoring and entrepreneurial training.

CUEED’s economic development initiatives focus on assisting entrepreneurs to sustain and grow their businesses and thus create wealth within their communities.

UCEDC is a private non-profit Community Development Financial Institution that fosters economic growth. They provide financial and technical assistance to new and existing businesses with emphasis on benefiting under-served people and communities.

NJIT APEX Accelerators, formerly PTAC, provides free counseling in addition to training and technical resources to New Jersey-based businesses. They help businesses navigate the procurement process to better identify viable sourcing opportunities in the government and private sector marketplaces.

There are no USEACs located in New Jersey; the closest are in Philadelphia and New York. These centers provide advice to first-time exporters and also run the Export Working Capital Program which helps small businesses export.

McNulty Veteran Business Center hosts the Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) for NJ and NY. They offer a range of instructor-led courses and workshops specifically tailored to give veteran entrepreneurs the business skills they need to succeed. They offer training in business planning to marketing, finance, access to capital, HR and more.

New Jersey Restaurant and Hospitality Association provides support, education and advocacy for owners and operators of restaurants, lodging establishments, and entertainment destinations throughout the Garden State.

NJTMA creates programs and services that help their businesses grow and prosper as well as provide support and encouragement to the New Jersey manufacturing industry.
